It's not too late to runbristol!

Run BristolIf you’ll be “race fit” on 30 September, it's not too late to enter the 2012 Bristol Half Marathon, race four of the runbritain Grand Prix and one of the UK’s leading road races.

The race - which is known for is flat, fast course - has increased capacity to 20,000 in recent years since adopting a highly successful two wave start which enables more runners to sign up to run; it has also improved the race day experience by spreading participants out along the 13 mile course.

Bristol Half Marathon could be the final opportunity to gain runbritain Grand Prix points; points are awarded at each Grand Prix race for the leading 250 British male and female athletes (eligible to compete for GB & NI at the time of the race), with 250 points for first place down to one point for 250th position.

A runner’s best four individual performances from the five events will count towards the overall Grand Prix title.

In addition, time bonus points will be awarded at each of the five races and in 2011, 9% of last year's top 100 UK men's half marathon performances were achieved in Bristol.

You can enter the Bristol Half Marathon now on the runbristol website.
