High Peak Half Marathon dedicated to PC Nicola Hughes Memorial Fund

The High Peak Half Marathon, that is part of the 2015 Tour of Tameside, takes place on Saturday 20 June and is being dedicated to the PC Nicola Hughes Memorial Fund.

Nicola was one of two police officers who lost her life in September 2012 as she attended a routine burglary call in Hattersley. The PC Nicola Hughes Memorial Fund supports children (under 21) who have suffered a tragic loss of a close family member through a violent crime such as murder or manslaughter.

There will be a mass warm-up run before the Half Marathon so that the two distances added  together give you 14 miles 846 yards in honour of Nicola Hughes' Police collar number - 14846

Please note this race can be entered on its own but also forms part of the Tour of Tameside.
