Hellhole multi -terrain 10k race open for entries

The Hellhole Multi Terrain Race takes place on Sunday 6th October and is now open for entries
Hosted by Derwentside AC, who are a friendly club based in Stanley, County Durham and who cater for all abilities, the event goes through the aptly named Hellhole Woods near to Beamish and the organisers warn that runners should be prepared to relish the mud that can be a feature in the autumn!
Derwentside AC used to stage the Derwentside 10 mile road race which was officially rated the hilliest event in England. This event had to be abandoned due to traffic management problems. The new Hellhole event also has its fair share of hills and previous runners have embraced the challenge whilst enjoying inspirational surroundings.
The event has been on the calendar for six years and accommodates 200 entrants, which is the current entry limit so enter quickly to ensure your place!
The event venue in Stanley has easy parking and good facilities. A generous prize list is available and all competitors receive a memento and refreshments.
For help with your training for this event visit our Sennheiser Training Zone and in particular the runstronger section that has ideas and sessions for the hills, mud and more!
