Hampshire Hoppit 2022 - Entries now open
Entries are now open for the Hampshire Hoppit, that will take place on Sunday 12th June for the Trail Marathon (26.2 miles) and the Trail Half Marathon (13.1 miles).
The event is hosted and organised by Basingstoke and Mid Hants AC who are proud to offer you this opportunity to run in one of Hampshire's most unique and scenic trail races that takes in sections of the Wayfarers Walk and Harrow Way.
The event also includes the Go Farther Trophy, which is a competition to celebrate the best placed father and daughter/son twosome in each event and the best placed mother and son/daughter twosome in each event i.e. in the half marathon or in the full marathon – both family members running in the same event.
Eloise Nice competed in 2018 and 2019 and said, “This is an absolute cracker. I did it in 2018 and found it faultless and such a joyous event that I returned in 2019. When you have high expectations it easy to be disappointed but not so here! This race not only does the big things really well but it’s all the little extras that make it so very memorable and by far and away one of the very best events.
