Great Bristol performances from Clowes and Evans

Matt Clowes

The results are in from last weekend with many reduced handicap scores. There were impressive performances in the Great Bristol Half Marathon where Matt Clowes was in winning form again. Parkruns were also a popular option for many.

Matt Clowes (handicap -5.7) impressed on the roads again with a victory in the Simplyhealth Great Bristol Half Marathon as he prepares for the upcoming Commonwealth Half Marathon Championships in Cardiff.

Clara Evans (handicap 1.2) won the women's race in 76:26 and, in so doing, took 0.1 from her handicap score.

At the Baxters Loch Ness Festival 10k,  Kenny Wilson (handicap -3.9) pushed Euan Gillam (handicap -3.4) to a new PB of 30:22  in the 10k with Jenny Bannerman (handicap 0.5) also winning in a PB of 34:53. Both Euan and Jenny took 0.1 from their scores.
