With three of the Grand Prix races now behind us we are looking forward to the final three races that make up the autumn series and we want to see YOU on the scoreboard!

Grand Prix points are awarded for the first 250 finishing positions in the six races that are in the series. 250 points are awarded to the first British finisher, down to 1 point for the 250th British finisher.

The autumn series is made up of:

Cardiff 10k - 6th September

Lloyds Bank Cardiff Half Marathon  - 4th October, incorporating British Championships

Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash 10k - 15th November, incorporating English Championships

The Cardiff Half Marathon and the Leeds Abbey Dash were also included last year, so let's see what it took to get on the scoreboard for the 10k and the half marathon distances.

In the Cardiff Half Marathon,  we welcomed Simon Lewis (handicap 4.6) onto the scoreboard, when he ran the distance in 83:38, along with Julie Broughton (handicap 16.3) who ran it in 1:56:40. Both finished 250th in their competition and grabbed a point each.

Then just  a few weeks later, at the Leeds Abbey Dash, we welcomed Anneke Imeson (handicap 12.3) who scored a point for 250th position and a time of 46:36 and Philip Leybourne (handicap 9.0) who scored 2 points for 249th position and a time of 34:41.
