FREE places at the Ealing Half Marathon

The Ealing Half returns on Sunday 27th September 2015 for its 4th year with a limited Early Bird discount (just 500 places) of £5.00 PLUS free places for your club members.
This years race saw a beautiful sunny day, with most runners arriving on foot from nearby Ealing Broadway. The race village in the leafy green of Lammas Park featured a fast bag drop, lots of stands and stalls from race sponsors such as ASICS, Up & Running and Xempo to name but a few and music to get you buzzing for the energising warm up.
The roads of Ealing, West London were closed and the capacity was expanded to 6,000 runners on this UKA measured course. The route took the runners through the surrounding area with occasional undulations and the runners were kept well hydrated by our five unique water stations.
This year's winner of the men's group was Ugandan Bem Siwa, 24, who ran the half marathon in one hour, seven minutes and 33 seconds and winner of the women's group was Kenyan Gladys Yator, 21, who finished in one hour, 15 minutes and 58 seconds.
Suitable for club runners, intermediates and beginners, this welcoming race is for everyone.
And don't just take our word for it, check out the reviews:
- "Genius idea of having big signs telling you which way the next turn was so you could always find your race line. Lovely little touches such as the signs welcoming runners from different countries. Agree that local support was amazing, second only to the London Marathon in my experience, and really fun - loved the guy standing at the end of his drive playing Chariots of Fire"
- "Absolutely love it and in the diary every year.”
-
“I ran this as my first ever Half in 2013 and couldn't wait to come back again in 2014. It was organised faultlessly once more and all the volunteers and marshals were simply excellent.
The course is really interesting with great variety and wonderful support." - "The breadth of the runners, from world class elites to first timers like me, we had the chance of seeing the elites running as we passed each other, it gave a sense of a whole race and not just the part I was in."
- "Beautiful sunny day, excellent organisation in the start finish area (bag drop, changing, toilets, volunteers) and support out on the course was amazing."
- "Well done Ealing! A great event. Lots of support and so well organized (I've run approaching 50 halfs so I have an idea)."

As a thank you, the race is offering 1 free place for every 10 runners that sign up under your club name. For more details plus T&Cs please email [email protected].
