Fixtures for 2016 Road Running Championships announced

British Athletics and England Athletics have today confirmed the following road race championship events for 2016.
The British Road Running Championships will kick off at the London Marathon on April 24 with the Mini London Marathon providing Young Athletes with a chance of taking the three mile title.
In May, the Westminster Miles and London 10,000m will once again be the events to decide who will become the British champions over the respective distances. Jo Pavey (handicap -1.4) and Andy Vernon (handicap -5.9) sealed the 2015 British 10km titles in the capital so, who will be challenging for the victory in 2016?
Nottingham will be the location of the British Half Marathon Championship with the Robin Hood Half Marathon combining the British and English titles for the first time in a number of years.

25th - Half Marathon (England and British) - Ikano Robin Hood Half Marathon

23rd - 10 miles (England) - Great South Run

6th - 10k (England) - Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash
