First Aid training for race volunteers

TESS Safe and Trained have developed a one day accredited course for Sports Volunteers. The content of this first aid course has been approved by the runbritain Medical Advisory Group as a suitable course for volunteer first aiders, to supplement the services of the medical provider at road races.

TESS can organise a course for your club and have dates available at venues around the UK. The cost of this course is £80pp excluding VAT and it is a full day Level 2 accredited course which would run from 9am-5pm.

UKA has confirmed with their insurers that club volunteers who provide incidental first aid at running events within the limits of their first aid training and experience, in support of the engaged medical provider, will be covered by UKA's insurances.
