The clock is ticking for this year's Ikano Bank Robin Hood Marathon Events weekend, so sign ups are needed to secure your place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September. But don't delay as entries close at midnight on Sunday 16th September.

Lace up and join thousands of people, from talented club runners to keen novices and charity fundraisers taking part in this year's Ikano Bank Robin Hood Marathon Events. You can sign up to Saturday’s brand new Mile Challenge or take on Sunday’s hugely popular and beautifully scenic half marathon. There’s also the mini marathon, schools and corporate challenge.

For half marathon runners you’ll enjoy a spectacular run passing many of Nottingham’s historic landmarks and iconic sights. Enjoy Wollaton Park with its herds of grazing deer, the stunning riverside setting of Victoria Embankment and hordes of spectators cheering along the route. It’s the perfect day out for local families and visitors alike.

An incredible list of national and local charities, including headline Cancer Research UK will benefit from funds raised by the event, which is now in its 38th year. And for half marathon finishers there is always the chance to win free entry to the 2019 race on the day, plus if you’re not one of the lucky winners every finisher will receive a special discount off early bird for 2019 as a thank you from race organisers, Goldline Events.

“2018’s race weekend is set to be bigger and better than ever before. We cannot wait to welcome thousands of runners, families and friends to Victoria Embankment later this month,” says Race Director, Judith Manson.

“The course is spectacular, the route is renowned for its huge spectator support and picturesque highlights. It’s one of the city’s most treasured events of the year and there’s still time to get involved - sign up now and join us at the start line!”
