Eveque World Marathon Challenge finishes soon

The Eveque World Marathon Challenge 2017/18 has been running as a virtual competition since October and, so far , five teams have broken the World Marathon Record. The deadline is in June 2018. 

• In the under 13 age group the fastest team in the World, so far, is St George’s School, Sheerness who have posted the amazing time of 1 hour 49 minutes and 8 seconds just beating the time set by Pardubice in the Czech Republic.
• In the any age category Graham’s Gazelles from Nottingham are ahead posting 1 hour 49 minutes and 21 seconds. 

Can your team run faster?

There is still time to test your team’s mettle to see if you too can beat Dennis Kimetto’s world record. 

Teams of between 26 and 36 members each run 200m sections in a continuous relay until the full marathon distance has been covered, so each team member runs up to nine sections.
