ESSAR Chester Half Marathon, MBNA Chester Marathon & Metric Marathon

This event has an incredible ‘hat-trick’ of an achievement and badge of honour for the MBNA Chester 10K, ESSAR Chester Half Marathon & MBNA Chester Marathon & Metric Marathon will host the England Age Group Masters Championships.

All the award-winning events have fast courses, which are ideal for all running abilities. Whether you’re looking to take on your first running event, to raise money as a charity runner, a regular runner wanting to soak up an amazing atmosphere and achieve a new PB or an elite runner wearing their England vest with pride, Chester is definitely the place to be! 

It is the first time an organiser will be hosting all three England Athletics Age Group Championships in one year, and Active Leisure Events are delighted to be working with England Athletics and their prestigious championships. 

Each course is stunning, taking runners through the historic streets of Chester and surrounding picturesque villages. You will receive great support and guidance from the moment you enter, through to your last step across the breath-taking city centre finish lines. You’ll also secure the popular race tech tops, medals, and highly desirable post-race goody bags.  

Having the England Age group master’s championships at all of Chester’s races, will only enhance an already unforgettable experience and exhilarating atmosphere.
