Entries open for Ras Y Moelwyn
It's only December but there is a feeling in the air that spring is on its way and Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs Football Club, with the help of Antur Stiniog, are once again busy organising the annual Ras y Moelwyn Three Peaks Race for the 34th year running, which will take place on Saturday, April 18th at 2.00p.m. Over the years the race has attracted runners from all over Britain, and from a wide age range, to participate in an event which many say is the most exciting, demanding and toughest in the Welsh Fell Runners Association calendar.
Ras Y Moelwyn is now part of the British Championship and it is expected that up to 400 runners will take part.
This year there will be entertainment on the field from 1.00pm onwards including a climbing wall, music, and an egg and spoon race!

The organisers' mission is to upgrade Ras y Moelwyn to compete on a par with other top events in the area, such as the Wyddfa and Cader Idris races and believe the race has the potential to be one of the main events in the UK. Put it on your calendar and then use our runstronger section of the website to plan your training for what will be a magical day in 'Stiniog!
Why not make a weekend of it and see 'Stiniog at its best?
