Event Leaders Programme starting on Monday
ELP - a development journey for current and aspirational Event Directors, be it track, road or multi-terrain. Following on from the launch of our Event Leaders Programme (ELP) last week, please find below details of the webinar we are running next week on Monday 15th March.
We’re pleased many of you have shown an interest in ELP. The webinar aims to give a little more detail about ELP and answer some of the questions you may have about the programme, so we encourage you to attend if you are wondering if it is right for you. We are also delighted to have Sally Bolton, OBE joining us to offer her reflections on leadership through her journey to becoming Chief Executive of Wimbledon - The All England Lawn Tennis Club (Championships).
ELP will offer you an opportunity to develop the core competencies of an event leader, learning through experiential modules, network learning and sport-led development over the course of 18 months. It will allow you to explore the complexities unique to events and provide you with the opportunity to learn from experts in leadership and event delivery, whilst building a cross-sector support network. It will also ensure you are able to build the skills and knowledge from the programme directly into your day to day work and personal development, with collaborative support from your organisation and UK Sport.
