Double Marathon Whammy for Cystic Fibrosis Trust

Henry Goldsmith, a primary school teacher from Swanley, completed both the London and Paris Marathons, within two weeks of each other to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Henry took on the two challenges, completing the Paris marathon in four hours 26 minutes and the London race in a speedy three hours 56 minutes, because his young cousin Sienna, aged two, was diagnosed with the disease at birth. Anyone wishing to donate to Henry’s fundraising page can still do so by visiting: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/HenryGoldsmith
Because running features in so many of the fundraising efforts for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, the Strawfie Challenge initiative are asking the running community to back their straw breathing selfie campaign to help raise awareness about CF. Anyone can take part in the Strawfie Challenge -see https://www.facebook.com/pages/Breathe-With-Me-Strawfie-Challenge/1518322021726017
Follow these three simple steps:
- take a straw breathing selfie (Strawfie) – breathing through a straw emulates the daily struggle for breath experienced by many people with CF
- post it on your Facebook/Twitter page
- nominate three friends to take part
