Date announced for 2nd ASICS Oulton Park Half Marathon & 10K
Xtra Mile Events have announced the date of the ASICS Oulton Park Half Marathon& 10K, which is held entirely on the famous Oulton Park motor racing circuit in Cheshire.
Taking place on Sunday 8th March, the ASICS Oulton Park Half Marathon& 10K is ideally timed and the perfect training race for all spring marathons, including the ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon in Trafford on Sunday 19th April 2015.
The ASICS Oulton Park Half Marathon consists of 6 laps whilst the 10K runners will be covering 3 laps. The finish straight for both races is in the pit lane, and start times are 10 am for the ASICS Oulton Park10K and 12.30 pmfor the ASICS Oulton Park Half Marathon. The Oulton Park race track is one of the country's finest motor racing circuits and offers many unique features including a traffic free race track, super smooth tarmac and the finish straight on the pit line, guaranteeing a unique running experience.
Showers and changing facilities as well as pre- and post-race massages are available, and there is free parking on site for competitors and spectators.
Registration to the ASICS Oulton Park Half Marathon & 10K is open now, with entry costing £20 (affiliated) / £22 (unaffiliated) for the 10K, and £25 / £27 for the half marathon. Runners of the ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon benefit from a reduced entry fee of £20 for the ASICS Oulton Park Half Marathon.
