We are delighted to announce that, with the addition of the Coombe Hill 5 that has signed up to use the runbritain online entry, almost a quarter of the 1593 races, that have been licensed through runbritain this year, are using the online entry system that is FREE for the runner.

In total, 68,143 runners in 2014 have, so far, benefited from entering their races at NO EXTRA COST. All they have paid is the entry fee. This number has already surpassed the 66,403 who used it in 2013 and the number of races using the system has also surpassed the 359 races that used it in 2013. The only charge incurred is the card charge which averages 60p per entry that goes directly to the card companies. Card charges are deducted at source and the balance of the entry fee is then transferred to the race.

Last month, the Coombe Hill 5,  became the 400th race to use the system and is looking forward to receiving entries for this race that will be held on 28th September. Run on quiet and mainly private roads and with good parking, changing and refreshment facilities runners can enjoy five miles at 0945hrs before cheering those taking part in the fun run of 1.8 miles at 1045hrs.
