Meanwhile, in the south-west, running conditions were just as good for the Plymouth Half Marathon where Kairn Stone (handicap -1.9) reduced his handicap score by -0.8 when he crossed the line in 69:47 and Emma Schuck (handicap 2.8)maintained hers with her time of 81:52.

The current leader is Neil Anderson (handicap 5.2) who did the Glasgow parkrun on Saturday and took 5.1 off his handicap score. His time of 19:23 was only 2 seconds faster than he ran the week before but Neil has started racing regularly over the last couple of months, after a break of more than three years, and the handicap scoring system rewards regular racing and so Neil is showing an improvement of 25.23%.
