#clickyourclock on your weekend result

Did you race over this Easter weekend? Many of the results are now in. Make sure you #clickyourclock on yours before 0830hrs on Thursday morning to be in with a chance of winning a Polar FT1 heart rate monitor in our weekly #clickyourclock competitions for 2017.

There were plenty of smaller races in, what is the normal, pre-London lull the week before the marathon but the Bushy parkrun achieved the 2nd largest attendance for any UK parkrun ever, only beaten by themselves in October 2014 and there are still lots of results that have clocks to be clicked! Some of the bigger races were:

North Tyneside 10K - 1,859 finishers * Provisional

Bushy parkrun - 1,414 finishers

Good Friday Road Races - 804 finishers

Notts AC Easter 10K - 611 finishers

Salford 10K - 600 finishers

Beaconsfield 5 - 531 finishers

There are currently more than 300 runners on the leaderboard who have improved their handicap score in the race they did this weekend. They will all be entered into the prize draw for the Polar FT1 Heart Rate monitor along with anyone else who clicks their clock and sees an improvement from their race this weekend.

Mark Peberdy (handicap 10.1) is currently top of the leaderboard after participating in the Isle of Man Easter Festival that offers three races over the Easter weekend. Mark did the 10k in 42:44 on Friday and the the 5k in 20:25 on Sunday. By doubling up, over the weekend, he made a 4.5 improvement to his handicap score.

Joe Walton (handicap -0.5) was also at the Isle of Man Festival. He ran the hill race on the Saturday in  22:00 and then did the 5k the following day in a fabulous 15:44 and achieved an improvement of 1.6.

David Lester (handicap 7.5) was one of the parkrunners out on Saturday morning. He did the Burnham and Highbridge parkrun in 19:46 for a 2.2 improvement.

Victoria Harrison (handicap 20.4) was one of the runners at the Good Friday Road Races in Lemington running 16.55 for the 2.2 miles for an improvement of 1.3.

Did you improve your score this weekend? If so, be sure to #clickyourclock before 0830hrs on Thursday morning when the competition finishes for this week. Remember any one who improves their score has an equal chance of winning - good luck!
