#clickyourclock on your weekend result

Have you raced in the last week? Many of the results are now in. Make sure you #clickyourclock on yours before 12 o' clock tomorrow to be in with a chance of winning a Polar FT4 heart rate monitor in week 20 of the weekly #clickyourclock competition for 2016.
There are lots of results that have clocks to be clicked! Some of the bigger races were:
Asda Foundation York 10K - 5,064 finishers
Run Norwich 10K - 4,205 finishers *Provisional as per race site
Darlington 10K - 1,609 finishers
Bushy parkrun - 1,051 finishers
Gloucester Marathon - 684 finishers * Awaiting confirmation
Indian Queens Half Marathon - 535 finishers
All runners currently on the leaderboard, who have improved their handicap score in the race they have done during the last week, will be entered into the prize draw for the Polar FT4 Heart Rate monitor along with anyone else who clicks their clock and sees a % improvement from the race they ran.
Top of the leaderboard currently is Ed Rothera (handicap 7.3) who improved his score by 5.629% as one of the 5,064 finishers at the Asda Foundation York 10k. Ed has returned to running this year after a four year absence and has been using the Roundhay parkrun to take chunks off his handicap score. His parkrun time has come down to 21:00 and he ran the 10k, on Sunday, in a highly creditable 42:10.
Sarah Beech (handicap 17.8), Colin Johnstone (handicap 12.9) (pictured) Malcolm Bulmer (handicap 15.8), Isabelle Van Heeswijk (handicap 9.0) and Alex Green (handicap 11.7) were also amongst the 5.064 finishers in York. Sarah took 1.612 % from her score for her time of 49:16 and Colin ran 45:22 for a 0.804% improvement. Both Sarah and Colin only registered their first race results last year and, this year, have used the Asda Foundation race series to improve their handicap scores. Meanwhile, Malcolm ran the course in 50:27 and took 1.530% from his score. Both Isabelle and Alex have only started racing this year. Isabelle took 1.052 % off when she ran 40:20 and Alex reduced his score by 1.036% when he ran 45:15.
Nicola McBride (handicap 7.2) put in two races, last week, to take 2.914% from her score. She ran the Ipswich Building Society Twilight 5k last Friday night where she took her score from 10.1 to 8.6, for her time of 19:42, and then followed this up with a 43:33 10k, on Sunday, at the Riverside Runners Anniversary 10k to take a further 1.4 from her score.
Mark Pickering (handicap 15.3) was amongst the 1,609 finishers at the Darlington 10k. Mark run 49:53 in this race and took 0.838% from his score. Meanwhile, Katie Gummow (handicap 18.3) joined the other 535 across the line at the Indian Queens Half Marathon where she broke the 2 hour barrier for the half marathon with a time of 1:57:24 and took 0.692% from her score.
