Two more weeks of the 2017 #clickyourclock competition

Did you race this weekend? The results are rolling in. Make sure you #clickyourclock on yours before 0830hrs on Thursday morning to be in with a chance of winning a Polar FT1 heart rate monitor in the penultimate week of this competition. We have two more Polar heart rate monitors to give as prizes but there will be other competitions over the winter months.
There were large events all over Great Britain and Northern Ireland this weekend. From results already in, the biggest races this weekend were:
Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash 10K - 8,928
Richard Burton 10K? - 1,425
Cheshire 10K -1,248 *
ECCA Saucony English National Relay Championships 1,169*

The Leeds Abbey Dash saw an impressive turnout and numerous PBs. Did you set one? The home nations were well represented on the podium with Eilish McColgan (handicap -3.3), from Scotland, winning the women’s event in 32:05 from Emma Mitchell (handicap -0.7) of Northern Ireland who ran 32:51. Emma set a national record too, which augurs well for the winter season.
The men’s winner was Sam Stabler (handicap -5.6) of England, in 29:13, from Paul Pollock (handicap -4.3), from Northern Ireland, in 29:20 and Ben Connor (handicap -5.8), from England, in third also with 29:20.
Did you race in one of these or any other event this weekend? By training and racing regularly your runbritain profile will maintain a healthy score and if you plan to peak for a target race, we hope you will improve it by a significant amount and make your way up the National Ladder. Don't forget that the National Ladder not only ranks you in the UK overall but by gender, age and postcode too.
