Claim your handicap and check your weekend result

Did you race this weekend on the road, trails or cross country? Most of the results are in and it's time to check your handicap score and your ladder position.
There were large events happening all over the country, this weekend, and the cross country season is now well-underway. From results already in, the biggest races this weekend were:
Vitalitiy Oxford Half Marathon - 7,645 finshers
Perkins Great Eastern Half Marathon - 4,253 finishers
Yorkshire Marathon - 3,826 finishers * Awaiting confirmation
Yorkshire 10 - 2,245 finishers* Awaiting confirmation
Plymouth 10K - 2,147 finishers
Start Fitness NE XC League - 1,508 finishers
Many of the races took place in cool conditions along with glorious early autumn sunshine that made perfect running conditions.
From the results so-far, the biggest race of the weekend was the Vitality Oxford Half Marathon where 7,645 crossed the finish line.The beautiful conditions helped to show Oxford and its stunning architecture to its best, making a fabulous run in to the finish.
The race was won by Paul Whittaker (handicap -4.1) who took 0.1 from his handicap score for his time of 67:18.
Molly Browne (handicap 2.6), who is normally seen racing over shorter distances, ran a great race to finish first female. This was only her second half marathon and her time of 81:14 was more then six minutes faster than she ran in Bristol last year.
