Can you reduce your handicap by more than three points this month?

It's the month of July and the race calendar is packed with plenty on at the weekends and in the evenings. Have you been racing? How are you doing?
If you haven't already signed up for the July competition of Reward Running 2014 make sure you do it before the end of the month. We are only ten days into July and anything can happen between now and then but we already have two runners who have reduced their score by more than three points.
Our current leader is Paul Hiley (handicap 5.0) who has already improved by 3.322 by running the Helen Windsor 10k on 2 July in 39:11 and knocking 24 seconds off his previous 10k time. In second place we have David Harris (handicap 4.4) who has reduced his score by 3,261. David has managed two races already this month: the Samphire Hoe 5k on 2 July where he took his score from 7.6 to 5.2 and then he ran the Romney Marsh 10k on 6 July. Where are you racing this weekend? Can you bring your score down by more than three points?
This competition, sponsored by Polar, rewards runners who have improved their handicap score by the largest amount with a Polar Heart Rate Monitor.
At the end of each month from March until October, the runner who improves their handicap the most in that month will receive a Polar heart rate monitor.
It doesn't matter when in the month you enter the competition, your scores will count for the whole month so good luck with your racing this weekend. When you get home, don't forget to enter this month's competition. Please go to your profile page and click the Enter button.
Good luck with bringing your July score down!
