Brooks Fleet pre-London Half Marathon two thirds full

The Brooks Fleet pre-London Half Marathon announces that over two thirds of the available on-line entries have now been filled. 

Any runners who want to have this event in their Spring race calendar are encouraged to enter in the next couple of weeks to avoid disappointment.  The event is always popular and despite there being other local races on the same weekend in March, entries are still filling up fast.  The race date is Sunday 22nd March starting at 10.30am.

 

Race Director Penny Abbott comments  "We are a week later than 2014 because of the date for Mother's Day in 2015.  The Fleet 1/2m is a real community event and it was important for us that we didn't clash with Mother's Day as we rely on volunteers to host the event and also road closures do bring disruption to the town and we didn't want to impact people getting to see their Mum.  By us moving a week you can see your Mum on Mother's Day and enjoy your racing the following week.  The host club Fleet & Crookham AC look forward to welcoming you to the Fleet 1/2M.
