Britain’s mass participation event organisers are working together to raise funds for the UK’s charities

The top 25 mass participation sports events in the UK raise more than £150 million for charities every year but hundreds of events have been cancelled or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A Webinar is planned for Tuesday 14th April at 1500.

Thousands of charities have had to reduce or stop services at a time when vulnerable members of society need them most, while thousands of staff have been placed on furlough. Many charities may not survive the next few months.

Now the organisations behind Britain’s mass participation events, including Human Race, parkrun, The Great Run Company, Run 4 Wales, Grounded Events, London Landmarks, Virgin Sport, Limelight Sports, Threshold Sports, Running High and London Marathon Events, are working together to launch a nationwide fundraising campaign to Save the UK’s Charities.

Please join us and help with the campaign to Save the UK’s Charities.

You are invited to join a webinar at 15:00 on Tuesday 14 April with Nick Rusling (CEO, Human Race) and Hugh Brasher (Event Director, London Marathon Events) to find out more. Please register for the webinar by clicking on the link below.

A recording of the webinar will be available after the event.
