Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Wear it pink with Tikiboo

Tikiboo cancer kit

Breast Cancer remains one of the most common cancers in the UK, with around 55,000 women diagnosed each year. Breast Cancer Awareness Month offers people the chance to show support and raise money in aid of vital scientific research.

Tikiboo first launched their Breast Cancer Now collection on February 4th (coinciding with World Cancer Day), to mark their new partnership with Breast Cancer Now. In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Tikiboo have since expanded the collection to launch three brand new prints in striking legging, capri, and sport bra co-ord sets:

  • Lady in Pink brings an urban edge, with key motivational words emblazoned in pink in a graffiti style. Featuring words such as ‘Fearless’, ‘Brave’ and ‘Strong’, this trendy print will leave you feeling powerful and strong.
  • Leopard Hearts takes the wearer for a walk on the wild side. Animal prints have been one of fashion’s longest standing trends, however Tikiboo have put their own quirky spin on the classic leopard print for Breast Cancer Awareness month by converting the spots into hearts.
  • Pink Ribbon upgrades the familiar pink ribbon (the symbol of the campaign) into a new chic print that is sure to pack a punch.

Each purchase of Tikiboo’s Breast Cancer Now Collection will see a minimum of 20% of the RRP donated back to Breast Cancer Now.

Faye and Daniel Jobbins, founders of Tikiboo, say: “when we first started working with Breast Cancer Now, we set ourselves the goal of raising a minimum of £20,000 by the end of the year. Since releasing our first collection we have smashed this target and to date have raised over £45,000. There has been an incredible response so far, with many women having a close affiliation to the charity and having been touched by cancer in their life. We hope everyone likes these new prints just as much as our first collection to continue the fundraising.”

The Tikiboo Breast Cancer Now collection is available to buy online from Tuesday 1 October at www.tikiboo.co.uk
