Brathay Windermere Marathon - a day for all the family

Now in its 8th year, the Brathay Windermere Marathon and Family Fun Day attracts hundreds of runners, supporters and visitors. The day also sees the conclusion of the Brathay 10 in10 marathon with 15 runner completing 10 marathons in 10 days.

There is lots to do for those who are not competing in the marathons on this lakeshore estate. Adrenaline junkies can try the climbing wall, zip wire, high ropes course, and canoeing; children will love the bouncy castle and games. There are live musical performances, a range of arts and crafts stalls and refreshments include a BBQ, bar, cafe, and ice cream van.

Monies raised support Brathay’s work with disadvantaged young people.
