BMC 1k challenge sees 2:19 and 2:36 as fastest times across the country

The men's event saw a three-way tie for the fastest performance with 2:19 being shared between 1:46 800m performer Oliver Dustin (handicap -3.3), James Young (handicap -3.6) and 3:40 metric miler Archie Davis (handicap -5.0).
The fastest women were Keira Brady-Jones (handicap 0.9) with 2:36 along the coast in Merseyside ahaed of Beth Kidger (handicap 0.1). who ran an impressive 2:39
James Thie (handicap -1.6) with 2:38 and the 2:51 by Aly Dixon (handicap -0.5) were fastest M40 runners over the four days.
