Blackpool Spring 5k closing date tomorrow

The Blackpool Spring 5k takes place this Sunday and runners will be treated to a flat, traffic free course in Stanley Park as it bursts into spring.

The Blackpool Spring 5k is a return to basics race with an attractive low entry fee. The course is almost all traffic free within Stanley Park, with a short stretch on the perimeter pavement. The race is followed by an Open track and field meeting and so is ideal for a family day out. The park also has a number of attractions to enjoy after the race or to entertain your supporters whilst you are cooling down!

The changing facilities have recently been upgraded so showers are available after the race and parking should be easy.

The race caters for runners off all abilities: the ideal distance for seasoned runners looking for a short, sharp session to turn the legs over or for beginners working on building up their fitness.
