Baddick and Chatterton crowned Virtual 5k Champions

Frank Baddick and Dani Chattenton have been confirmed as winners of the inaugural England Athletics Virtual 5km Championships with their fastest times over the distance.
Both are distinguished on the track and ran significantly faster than their track times, which bodes well for their next toe to toe outings.
Frank Baddick (handicap -5.4) flew round his Loughborough base in 13:43 which was five seconds faster then runner up Tom Evans (handicap -5.4) with 13:48.
Dani Chattenton (handicap -1.2) from Milton Keynes was well ahead with 15:14 which augurs well with Olympic qualifications set at 15:10. The next fastest in the women was Holly Archer (handicap -0.8) with 15:59.
Aldershot were the top team taking both men's and women's titles thanks to Alex Pointon (handicap -3.9) who ran 14:18, Joe Morwood (handicap -5.1) with 14:26 and Jack Boswell (handicap -2.9) with 14:51 for the men and Pippa Roessler (handicap 2.4) with 17:00, Lesley Locks (handicap 1.9) with 17:28 and Katriona Brown (17:32) for the women.
