Around the world in 500 runs - Ultimate Running Races app

In January 2012 Collins and Aimer Media launch the Ultimate Running Races app. This is the digital version of the World’s Ultimate Running Races. Now the full content of the book is available with the additional functionality of a sophisticated app for iPhone and iPad.

The Ultimate Running Races app allows users to plan their running year, from ultrarunning events, to sociable city runs; users are able to search races by month, distance, terrain and country, record their times, select their favourite races, and share their successes with other runners via Facebook, Twitter or email. It is ideal for experienced runners and those who are new to the sport, with races for all levels and helpful information from world leading athletes.

About the editors:

The list of running races is compiled by world champion mountain-runner and skyrunner Angela Mudge. Her achievements include winning the World Mountain Running Championship in 2000, winning the 2006 Buff Skyrunner World Series, and being one of only five Britons nominated at the 2001 Laureus World Sports Awards alongside David Beckham, Steve Redgrave, Jonathan Edwards and Lennox Lewis.

Angela is joined by the contributions of some of the world’s leading runners including Kilian Jornet, Mara Yamauchi, Hugh Jones and Jonathan Wyatt.
