September is here and, for many, preparations for your autumn marathon will be well underway.
As you get closer to the date, it is even more important that those preparations go well. If things go wrong before a 5k, 10k or even half marathon, it doesn't seem such a big deal as you can easily find another one in a few weeks time but the marathon is a different kettle of fish as recovery takes much longer.
