parkrun's biggest and best weekend
Last weekend, parkrun achieved two World Bests with the fastest female time ever set by Charlotte Arter, at the Cardiff parkrun, and the largest attendance around the world with over 340,000 runners, walkers and volunteers!
Charlotte Arter's female best time for parkrun was reported on Monday and, since then, we have learned that parkrun recorded a record 340,000 participants across 1650 events in 20 countries!
The Bushy parkrun also topped our 'big six' table again with more then 1500 runners on Saturday and grabbed the third spot with a slightly lower field on New Year's Day. Four of the 'big six' were parkruns:
