Throughout 2015 Polar are rewarding runners who have improved their handicap score by the largest percentage with a Polar Heart Rate Monitor.

This is a weekly competition and this week the competition has been won by Ben Heron (handicap 5.1) Last weekend, Ben ran at the Peterborough parkrun and reduced his score by 4.9 from his last parkrun when his score was 9.0. Ben's previous best score was 11.0 back in 2012. After a three year lay-off from competiton and parkruns, he has been a regular at the Peterborough parkrun since the beginning of this year and so his handicap score has shown significant improvement. His percentage all time improvement was 19.67%! The second best % improvement last week was 13.08% from Daniel Allen (handicap 8.1) and with this superb improvement was unlucky to find someone else in front of him!

Ben will shortly receive a Polar FT4 heart rate monitor.
