And the #clickyourclock winner is ...Terry Pike!
We are pleased to announce the winner in the #clickyourclock competition as Terry Pike from North Devon RR (handicap of 24.6).
Throughout the summer we are rewarding runners who have improved their handicap score with a chance to win a Polar A300 Activity Tracker.
At 12 noon each Wednesday a random draw is made from all those runners on the #clickyourclock leaderboard whose scores have improved by any amount in the preceding seven days and the prize is a Polar A300 Exercise and Activity Tracker.
This week, there were 918 clocks clicked and, out of those, 448 showed that the training is paying dividends and improved their handicap score.
All 448 went into the draw with a chance to win a Polar A300 Activity Tracker (pictured).
Terry Pike (handicap of 24.6) was picked, at random and will soon be receiving his prize. Terry (North Devon RR) ran 30:06 at the Bideford parkrun, not his fastest but combined with his consistency and number of events he is a man on the rise with a 1.13% improvement in his handicap as shown in the leader-board here. Well done Terry!
The London marathon, this weekend, will see many addressing their handicap scores. Remember, during the race, take on regular liquid in batches of around 100ml every 15-30 minutes depending on temperatures.
