adidas and Sennheiser prizes on the way to handicap score improvers

The results of the Reward Running competition for July are now out including spot prize winners!

This competition, sponsored by adidas and Sennheiser, rewards runners who have improved their handicap score by the largest amount with an adidas miCoach or Sennheiser headphones.

The overall winner was Guy Whitfield who topped the chart with a massive 9.586 improvement!  Guy will shortly receive an adidas miCoach for his performance.

We are also pleased to announce the names of those who have won Sennheiser headphones as spot prizes:

Joshua Namiech-Oyebola finished 123rd in the competition and has improved his handicap score by 1.399. He runs for Watford, predominantly on the track.

Steve Megson finished 999th in the competition. He has had a slight drop in performance this month but is generally on his way up. His handicap score was 24.0 less than a year ago when he ran the Cambridge parkrun in 27:47. He has gradually chipped away at that time and at his handicap score and ran 22:13 at Peterborough parkrun in June this year, taking his score down to 11.6. It currently stands at 11.7.
