adidas and Sennheiser prizes on the way to handicap score improvers

The results of the Reward Running competition for October are now out including spot prize winners!

This competition, sponsored by adidas and Sennheiser, rewards runners who have improved their handicap score by the largest amount with an adidas miCoach or Sennheiser headphones.

The overall winner was Emily Reid who topped the chart with a massive 8.443 improvement!  Emily will shortly receive an adidas miCoach for her performance.

We are also pleased to announce the names of those who have won Sennheiser headphones as spot prizes:

Duncan Hird finished 12th in the competition. Duncan improved his score by 4.338. His biggest jump came as a result of his 3:47 time at the Yorkshire Marathon.

Stuart Michael receives the other spot prize. Stuart was 999th in the competition. His handicap score has stalled a bit this month but his general trend is going in the right direction. Stuart had a handicap score of 6.2 when he first signed up in July 2011 and, after gradually chipping away, he went below scratch in August this year.
