2014 Route launched for Larking Gowen Ipswich Half Marathon supported by University Campus Suffolk

The organisers of this year’s Larking Gowen Ipswich Half Marathon, Ipswich Jaffa Running Club, Ipswich Borough Council and Larking Gowen are pleased to announce the route for the 2014 race!

Following feedback from last year’s race, event organisers have improved the course, which will see some changes over the last mile and a longer town centre section. Along with the revised course, a new route map has been designed, supported by University Campus Suffolk, that is easier to follow.

Race Director, Carl Ashton of Ipswich Jaffa "We’ve taken on board feedback from last year to simplify the course with a more direct route to the finish at the mansion. Adding a section in the town centre gives more opportunity for us to show off the town and we are hoping that this will lead to more spectators coming out to support the runners."
