20,000 entries already for final three runbritain Grand Prix races

The fourth, fifth and final rounds of the runbritain road race grand prix take place at the Admiral Swansea Bay 10k this weekend, the Lloyds TSB Cardiff Half marathon in October and the Leeds Abbey Dash 10k in November.

The three events have already received more than 20,000 entries between them. Confirmed for Swansea are Katriona Wootton, Charlotte Purdue, Andrea Whitcombe, Emma D’Alton and Claire Jacobs. In the men’s line-up, Olympic marathon selection Dave Webb took maximum grand prix points at Reading and Bristol but faces series leader Nick Torry, along with Dewi Griffiths, Marc Hobbs, Ben Jones, Ricky Challinor, Matt Barnes, Daniel Woodgate, and Paul Martelletti.

There is £60,000 of British-only prize money and time bonuses across the series. Cardiff incorporates the British Half Marathon Championship for individuals and teams.
