Smile Train is an international children’s charity with a sustainable approach to a single, solvable problem: cleft lip and palate. Millions of children in developing countries with unrepaired clefts live in shame, but more importantly, have difficulty eating, breathing and speaking.

Cleft repair surgery is simple, and the transformation is immediate. Our sustainable model provides training and funding to empower local doctors in 85+ developing countries to provide 100%-free cleft repair surgery in their communities.

By joining Smile Train Team EMPOWER, we give athletes in the UK and around the world the opportunity to make every step, every lap and every mile count towards giving a child not only a new smile, but a second chance at life.

Thanks to supporters taking on challenges we are able to create a new smile and second chance at life every 5 minutes.
 

We have a varied selection of events you can get involved with and will support you all the way. We will help to advice on the best way you can fundraise with-in your networks, help you to set up an online fundraising page and post you a fundraising pack. We will also give you a Smile Train running vest and provide t-shirts and cheering paraphernalia for friends and family to help spur you along on event day.
